Refrigerated Fresh Organic Soups
We're delighted with the quality of the soups-we think they taste every bit as good as soups from our kitchen. Our nine different flavors are some of our customers' all-time favorites: Texas Two-Bean Chili, Hearty Mushroom & Barley, Tuscan White Bean & Vegetable, Mediterranean Tomato & Rice, Creamy Potato & Corn Chowder, and Creamy Broccoli & Cheese. The first four are vegan, and the last two have dairy. The soup is packed in airtight 18 ounce plastic pouches for maximum freshness and extended shelf life. The pouches in turn are shipped in beautiful microwave safe paperboard containers. If you're in a hurry, you can simply pour the soup directly from the pouch into the microwaveable container and heat and eat the soup right out of the colorful cup. The soups are bursting with flavor, yet have exceptional nutritional qualities such as low fat, no cholesterol, no saturated fat, and low calories, depending on each individual recipe.
Frozen Organic Entrees
Look for Moosewood's entrees in the natural foods freezer section of your market. Our initial product offering includes four gourmet style dishes. We have good old classic Macaroni & Three Cheese for when you want something comforting and familiar. Farfalle with Spinach Pesto Sauce & Portobello Mushrooms is gorgeous and features delicious oven roasted mushrooms. Our Broccoli and Pasta Parmesan is a beautiful twist on an old favorite, very colorful and satisfying. There's Moroccan Stew, Pasta e Fagioli, and Chilaquile Casserole. And last, but by no means least, our Spicy Penne Puttanesca features a vegan tomato sauce with scrumptious calamata olives, capers, and cayenne.
Getting new food products into the stores can sometimes be slow-if you want to try our new soups and entrees and can't find them in your local market, ask the store manager to order them for you. Or, you can locate the nearest store to you on Fairfield Farm Kitchens' website.

and Natural Frozen Ethnic Meals. Our Moosewood Moroccan Stew was the
Best Moroccan Entree out of 45 varieties they taste tested.
I just purchased your product Spicy Penne Puttanesca; this past Saturday while shopping at Whole Foods. This was the first time I tried the Spicy Penne Puttanesca and I must say it was absolutely delicious!! I am Italian and I love pasta, and this was as good or better than homemade and better than most Italian restaurants that I have gone to. I also bought the Pasta Fagioli which I will have for dinner this evening. I noticed on the back your carton you mention your refrigerated soups.....I will definitely pick some up, next time I am at whole foods. I love experimenting and trying new things all the time and I think this time, I hit it big.

I have tried several of the Moosewood quick lunch pastas. They are great! I especially like the Farfalle and Spinach Pesto sauce. I had almost stopped sampling the frozen entrees that are organic and healthy as they often ended in the trash after 2 bites. But keep up the good work with Moosewood.

We recently purchased a few of your Organic vegetarian meals from our local Stop&Shop, in Western Massachusetts. We absolutely love them! The macaroni and cheese is the best frozen entree we have ever had! We so appreciate a company who not only offers Organic, as this is all we buy; but also we choose vegetarian products for most meals and we especially like the convenience of the Moosewood meals. We can eat in a hurry without sacrificing our committment to organic eating.

"I just wanted to thank you for the Moosewood soups! I have recently become vegetarian and become very conscious of what I eat, the contents it has and its source. I was in the grocery store today having forgotten my lunch at home and was walking through the refrigerated section of the "natural food" section and came across your soups. The name caught my eye and I decided to look at them. I ultimately choose the Hearty Mushroom Barley soup and felt like I died and went to heaven. I've always been a soup person and it is a joy to find such a low calorie, low fat, vegetarian soup that is absolutely wonderful in taste and consistency.
